Dr. Belette is an experienced and compassionate clinician focused on the individuals and families in his care. He has been serving southern Florida for three decades. During his career he has been listed among 'America’s Most Compassionate Doctors' and recognized among 'South Florida Super Doctors.' He also served as Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine / Nova Southeastern University.

Born in Holguin, Cuba and raised in Hicksville, New York, Dr. Belette is fluent in both English and Spanish. He and his wife, Ivette, have been married for more than 30 years and have two children.

His patients trust him for the latest cutting-edge protocols such as immunotherapy, and he remains actively engaged in clinical research to expand access to advanced treatment options.

Along with his distinguished career in oncology, Dr. Belette is a published medical author and has conducted research for Bayer, Astellas Pharma Global Development, Bristol Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, and other respected organizations.

Experience and Education

Throughout his career, Dr. Belette has cared for patients across South Florida and currently leads oncology services at the Kendall location of Medical Professionals of Miami. Previously, he served patients through several respected oncology groups across Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, earning recognition for his compassionate care and commitment to advancing cancer treatment.

He completed his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at North Shore University Hospital / Cornell University Medical College, following his medical degree from the University of Illinois and undergraduate studies at Haverford College.
